¼ cup orange juice
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
⅛ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
6 (4 ounce) fillets salmon
1 lemon, sliced

Directions

  1. Combine heavy cream, milk, water, orange juice, butter, mustard, honey, and salt in a pot, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens, 20 to 25 minutes.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, cook salmon until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 10 minutes per side.

  3. Transfer salmon to a serving plate and top with sauce. Squeeze lemon slices over salmon.
