Directions

  1. Spray a skillet with cooking spray. Add corn kernels and cook over medium heat until browned, about 5 minutes.

  2. Combine chicken broth, butter, and sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring to a boil. Add cream and bring to a boil again. Whisk in grits and browned corn kernels. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes. Turn off heat and stir grits until thickened, about 1 minute.
