2 (15 ounce) cans prepared chili, divided
2 (15 ounce) cans beef tamales, divided
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Mexican cheese blend
8 ounces diced onion
1 (8 ounce) jar salsa
1 (6 ounce) container guacamole
½ cup sour cream

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Spread 1 can chili into the bottom of a baking dish and top with 1 can beef tamales, repeat layering. Top mixture with cheese and diced onion. Spread salsa over the cheese layer.

  3. Bake in preheated oven until bubbly, about 25 minutes. Top with guacamole and sour cream to serve.

My mom made this on special occasions and she finally gave me the recipe. I made this for Cinco de Mayo last year and even my Mexican friends loved it! It's not the most authentic recipe in the world but gosh is it good!
