1 pound ground beef
¼ cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 ¼ cups hot water
17 ounces whole kernel corn

Directions

  1. Heat a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef and onion in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes, drain and discard grease.

  2. Return pan to heat and season ground beef mixture with chili powder. Pour water into the saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir corn, tomatoes, and macaroni into the mixture, bring to a simmer and cook until the macaroni is tender, about 10 minutes.

  3. Sprinkle contents of cheese packet from macaroni and cheese package over the mixture, stir.
