2 jalapeno peppers, chopped

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and saute until tender, 2 to 5 minutes. Add cheese and cook over low heat until melted, about 5 minutes. Stir in black-eyed peas and jalapenos until thoroughly heated, about 5 minutes.
